Hidden Halo Engagement Rings
A hidden halo sits underneath the centre stone rather than around it. From directly above the ring reads as a solitaire — clean outline, nothing crowding the diamond. From the side, and only from the side, a ring of pavé diamonds appears in the basket beneath.
It is the setting for someone who wants the restraint of a solitaire and the detail of a halo without choosing between them. In photographs taken from above it looks minimal; in person, at the angle you actually see your own hand, it does not.
Two practical consequences. First, the hidden halo raises the centre stone slightly, which makes it sit higher on the finger and catch more light from the sides — flattering, but worth knowing if you work with your hands. Second, unlike a visible halo it does **not** make the centre stone look bigger, because nothing extends the bright outline. Buy the centre diamond as you would for a solitaire.
The detail to check is the basket itself: the hidden diamonds should be visible through the gallery from several angles, not just one. Every setting here comes in 14K white, yellow or rose gold.
